It is the City of Victorville's mission to attract a diverse nature of commercial and industrial companies, creating a range of employment opportunities for our local residents that can help to promote a better and more sustainable quality of life. The City provides opportunities to new and expanding commercial and industrial businesses through investments it has made in major infrastructural systems that provide companies with immediate access to markets at costs that are among the most affordable in California. These opportunities are located at the Southern California Logistics Airport (SCLA), the Foxborough Industrial Park, the Auto Park at Valley Center, the Mall of Victor Valley and prime retail centers located throughout the City.

Located just 90 minutes from Los Angeles, Southern California Logistics Airport (SCLA) is the former George Air Force Base and has been transformed into a fully-dedicated business and logistics park, integrating ground transportation users, manufacturing operations and aerospace service providers. SCLA is a destination for flight test activities, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) service providers, aircraft storage and aircraft component part-out. SCLA maintains two runways, one of which is the second longest commercial runway in the United States, at 15,050 feet.
